april is a month

i was going to make a mix cd of all the classical music i like, except for the part where i don't have any of it anymore. i'm not saying that sometimes i download music, but i am saying that if you were to hypothetically try to download debussy and smetana, you might not find a lot of people sharing.

so i made a fake classical mix instead that is a real stretch.
and it starts with the most depressing song i've ever heard.

ps: meximelt b. apparently has us covered on an upcoming classical mix.

That song isn't depressing.. for me..

in fact... I think that song is only what you bring to it... it can be filled with a peaceful... exuberance... or a draining melancholy... it's really all for you to decide. Which is why it's so amazing.

POETRY BLOG ALERT! I STAND BY MY THEORY THAT THAT SONG IS LIKE BEING ON THE BOAT DRIVEN BY DEATH THAT USHERS YOU OVER THE RIVER.

That is what i bring to it, mssr ... pants?

Indeed. I think it's more like ...looking at a lush empty field.. and not being sure if you are contemplating how extra lovely nature is... or the end of human existence... and also not sure that it even really matters. It generally makes me calmly happy... which probably says alot about my feelings towards people in general.

... also... exuberance! what a great word.

also my totally most fave thing about that aphex twin song is where it sounds like your speakers are blown out at ANY VOLUME.

also, i'll talk to your friend c.t. about track lists. i was track list averse for some reasons, but maybe i'm being too cautious.
